The counterweight is not marketing. My pours stopped stalling the first morning.
JUNE K.PORTLAND
★★★★★
It sits on the shelf like it was always there. Then it pours like it practised.
ANSEL R.CHICAGO
★★★★★
I bought it for the walnut. I stayed for the 90-degree hold.

Every kettle leaves the kiln room with its number struck under the base and a card signed by the hands that checked the pour. If it ever fails you, the number is all we need.

17STILL POURING QUESTIONS
Asked every morning.
Yes. The base is bonded 304 steel over the stoneware foot — induction, gas, and electric are all fair game.
The handle is oiled, not lacquered. Rub it with a drop of mineral oil twice a year and it will outlast the argument about pour-over.
No — it is the point. The 1.2 kg balance is what turns a wobbly wrist into a 6 ml/s pour.
Thirty mornings. If the ritual doesn't take, send it back and we cover the ride home.
